Where next?

Tenerife

My first trip of the year is fast approaching. I’ll be spending a week with my family back in Los Cristianos. Although I’ve been multiple times before, I always try and explore a new part of the island while I’m there!

Bern

In early `March, I’ll be spending a long weekend in the Swiss capital of Bern, staying at the gorgeous Hotel Schweizerhof in the city centre. I’m flying into Zurich and then jumping on the train to Bern, and can’t wait to explore all that the capital of Switzerland has to offer.

Riga

My next city break is lined up for the start of April this year and I’m off to Riga, capital of Latvia. I’ve booked two nights at the Grand Poet hotel and am looking forward to exploring the Old Town, as well as many of the museums I’ve heard are in the city. The weather should be mild and perfect for a weekend of exploring!

Ljubljana

Later in April I’m heading to the capital of Slovenia – Ljubljana. We’re planning two days in the city and then a night at the gorgeous Lake Bled. Having seen it featured on the ‘Travel Man‘ show, I was really interested in exploring, and the flights were super cheap (£60 return form London) so I’ve booked to go Saturday-Tuesday.

Prague

Planning even further ahead, I’ve booked a weekend break for May Bank Holiday with a friend to the Czech capital of Prague. My sister has visited and loved it, and having been to many of the neighbouring countries, I felt it was time I visited Prague for myself to see what it has to offer. Flights with British Airways were £152 return, which seems fairly reasonable for a Bank Holiday weekend.

Zante

My annual Greek Island trip is booked with my sister, and we are going to Alykes in Zante. A small resort with a strip of bars and tavernas, the beach looks lovely and is within walking distance of the apartments we have booked. As always, we have gone through TUI who have to date never let us down with a holiday!
